Workshop manager

Automotive Motor Trade Job: Workshop Manager, West London
£Up to 30k depending on experience, 45 hours per week

Getbike runs a very successful and extremely busy Motorcycle workshop that operates in tandem with London’s largest Motorcycle training school and busy new and used showrooms. A vacancy has arisen for a Workshop and after sales manager

Reporting to the General Manager, this is a very important position and so we are looking for someone who is either in the role currently and looking for a move or has all the skills and aspirations to take on greater responsibility. As a proactive member of the dealerships management team you will be required to run an efficient operation, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times, motivating and training staff to perform, developing and improving processes and systems at the same time as driving the business forward. Your objective will be to increase efficiency, turnover and profits.

Main Duties:

The successful candidate will be:

Responsible for the efficient running of the workshop
Delegate workloads to the technicians
Order and maintain an extensive parts inventory
Control wastage of consumable materials
Maintain a clean, well-decorated and tidy workshop to achieve the highest standards of workshop presentation
Advise customers on technical problems
Awareness of Health and Safety in the work place
Handling Retail, Fleet, Sales & Warranty work
To ensure that all MOT, vehicle repair and other work is carried out within an operational framework and to a standard that meets or exceeds all relevant legislation, good practice guidelines.

Motorcycle Instructors

Our busy DSA approved school runs a full range of courses 7 days a week. Due to our continued expansion, we require qualified CBT/DAS instructors. We also have limited places available for suitable candidates to be trained to our high standards.

Motorcycle Mechanics

We operate a fully equipped workshop that services and repairs our fleet of motorcycles and scooters. We also undertake repairs and servicing to our customers vehicles. Suitable applicants for this position would ideally have main dealer experience in servicing and accident repairs.
